Whenever I have been heartsick or in pain, I always knew my Mammy’s doors were open to me. I think we all knew. The most important thing is that she held onto us in prayer, even if we weren’t aware of it, or aware of the fact that we even needed prayer at the time.
I feel that way about my own children. Don’t we all? Sometimes, that is all we can do for them…beseech our Lord Jesus on their behalf. He will listen. He will comfort them in their moments of weakness and suffering. Even if they don’t know they need or want His comfort. Even if they are running from Him. He is running after them passionately. He is waiting for His child to turn around and say, “I NEED You Jesus.”
And just as we do, He is waiting to hold them in His arms, to rock them, to say, “Jesus Loves You” and that everything will be okay…even if it is hard.
Because, no matter what, Jesus does Love you…His child.
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
